Jens In-Progress project
Jens V, another visitor from "across the pond",  has been communicating with me frequently since he discovered the site in January.  He has made great progress on his cabinet but has had to put off the completion until after classes let out.  (The dreaded real world strikes again.)  He has begun wiring the control panel and has one side active.  He has a site which is tracking his progress which includes a number of nice construction shots and some humorous explanations.  He's looking forward to June- I'm holding off adding his cabinet to the main Example page until he finishes the beauty, as an additional incentive.  I know- I'm evil.:-)

Pop over and give his site a viewing.  It can be found at http://users.pandora.be/werrez/.

Finally, sort of an update
Once again I find that there has been a lonnng gap since the last News update. Unfortunately, not much new to report on the second cabinet build. Between winter sicknesses in his house, working his day job, working his night job, and the unusually cold (and messy) winter we have been having, Scott hasn't had a chance to finish touching up his cabinet. When it warms a bit more he should have a chance to finish it so we can assemble it, then work on his control panel. I know there a number of
you who have been waiting for me to finish these plans. All I can say is please continue being patient.

I've had the pleasure in communicating with four different people recently who are in various stages of cabinet construction. One should be complete very soon and am hopeful to have some pictures of it up soon thereafter. It's looking good. I'm always interested in seeing the slight (and sometimes major) design tweaks you guys come up with. Some really great stuff!

More plans!!!ArcadeCab's Ultra-Trackball Plans- Right click and Save As...
I have added another set of plans to the site.  These detail the construction of the original trackball controller.  The plans can also create the single-player panels some of you are interested in.  I've spent the last week assembling the instructions into some semblance of a coherent document.  Hopefully it will at least provide some insight into how to build your own control panel.

The reason behind offering these free plans (as all my plans always will be), is that I've pretty much stopped offering the Single-Player panels for sale anymore.  My available shop time is severely limited this days (by choice) and I could not see it getting better anytime soon.  I still receive a fair amount of daily traffic from several gaming forums to my single-player sales page, and felt it might be beneficial to provide a resource to these visitors.  The image to the right links to the PDF and the full Project page is here.
